Good to know

How do I apply interior film?

It’s self-adhesive, which makes application super easy! Thoroughly clean and degrease the surface and remove any unevenness. Cut the film to the desired size. Peel off the backing paper and smooth the film down with a squeegee from the inside out. Finally, trim off the excess – done. For extra help, check out our many tutorial videos in the “DIY” section.

Can I cut the material myself?

Yes, the material is very easy to cut. All you need is a sharp cutter. To make things easier, there’s a 10 cm grid on the back of the backing paper. This way you can easily transfer your measurements and cut precisely. Pro tip: leave about 3 cm extra on each side. This gives you more flexibility during application and ensures a perfect finish.

Which tools do I need?

Good news: you don’t need any special tools! A sharp cutter for trimming and a squeegee for applying interior film are more than enough. For professional results on edges and corners, we recommend a heat gun. And don’t forget a good cleaner for the surface – that’s the key to perfect adhesion.
