Magnetic floors can be installed on all even and solid hard floors such as tiles, parquet, laminate or stone. The surface must be clean, dry and free from dirt so that the magnetic underlay sits properly. Small dents or tile joints are easily covered by the magnetic floor and don’t cause any issues. The only important thing is that no uneven areas stick up, so the floor remains level.
No, you don’t need special tools. A utility knife, a ruler and possibly a folding rule are enough to cut and install the planks.
Installation is very quick, as no adhesive needs to dry and no click system is required. Once the magnetic underlay is rolled out and the planks are laid, the floor is immediately walkable.
