We advise against applying the coating over joints. The joint is not smooth and thus does not provide a good surface for the film to adhere to. This can cause the material to detach over time. For a long-lasting beautiful and durable result, it is better to apply the film only to smooth, continuous surfaces.
The film can usually be removed very easily and without residue. The best way is to heat the edges of the film with a hairdryer – this softens the adhesive and makes the film easier to release. Pull it off slowly and reheat it in between. If any adhesive remains, simply remove the residues with a household cleaner.
